This blog will attempt to emulate what we think we’ve learned from George Hotz, how to be a node in a learning community working on a problem. We view this space as one element in our Learning Portfolio, and will link to other portions of our portfolio among systems we host and world systems we have adopted. From time to time we anticipate writing reflections on our use of this space and on our changing understanding of portfolios for learning.

We are committed to the advancement of authentic learning—learning that takes place in and beyond the classroom; that encourages the exchange of knowledge across disciplinary, institutional, and national boundaries; and that recognizes the need for participation in the global dialogue.
